Largely dry to start, with most southern and western areas should remaining largely dry and bright through the day. Thundery showers, moving north, could clip the east of the country, with a few thunderstorms breaking out across north Wales too. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
Tonight, evening showers fading, leaving a drier interlude. This ahead of another area of thundery rain which could affect eastern and northern areas later. Staying warm and muggy overnight. Minimum temperature 13 °C.
