We Are Go aims to reignite the world’s quest for adventure, thrilling travelers of all ages with the promise of space-related excitement that can only be found in Florida – one of the busiest spaceports in the world.
Drawing inspiration from science fiction icons, vintage tourism images and modern technology, the collection of posters captures the viewer’s imagination through vivid colors and stylized illustrations.
The retro-style illustrations aim to reignite interest in space travel as well as remind the viewer that Florida is the world’s epicenter for all things related to space tourism.
We Are Go Florida’s marketing agency, Paradise Advertising, reached out to Lab Partners, seeking to collaborate on these specialty posters.
Known for their beautiful and unique illustrative style, Lab Partners has worked with large brands across a variety of platforms, including Target, Penguin Books and Williams-Sonoma. The posters are the ideal decoration for children’s rooms, playrooms or adding a retro flair to a space.
In addition to the ability to download the exclusive posters, the “We Are Go Vacationauts” app is home to a variety of resources that are essential to planning a trip to Florida’s attractions–space related or otherwise, alongside of interactive games, quizzes, earnable badges and a compass that points in the direction of the next rocket launch.
Vacationauts can earn up to 26 badges, each of which represents a unique user achievement from watching launches in person to taking part in social, gaming and interactive features on the We Are Go Vacationauts app or at WeAreGoFL.com.
The more badges a user collects, the higher Vacationauts ranking they earn. Users start as a Vacationaut, then have the opportunity to advance throughout 10 ranking levels, all the way up to Vacationaut Captain. This feature provides an avenue to get younger family members excited about space, science and everything in between.
