Workshop to market tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: A workshop on was held in Islamabad to market tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Mohammad Atif Khan, Provincial Minister of KP in charge of Tourism, Sports, Archeology, Youth and culture Affairs, was invited as Chief Guest in the case.
The news was shared through PTI’s official twitter handle stating, “Workshop on “KP’s Tourism Sector : Challenges, Opportunities and method for Tourism sector in KP&rdquo forward; occurred at Islamabad. @AtifKhanpti was Chief Guest at occasion. The workshop marked the launch of the scholarly study ‘Tourism Sector Analysis’,”
Atif Khan wrote on his Twitter handle that also, “Kp ! Focusing on sustainable & responsible tourism to boost economy and create jobs for youth.”
The workshop discussed some great benefits of tourism in KP province and advantages youth are certain to get through the development done in the province.
PTI continued to create, “KP is blessed with abundant tourism assets, including sites with scenic beauty along with of archeological, historical, religious and cultural significance and will be offering great prospect of sustainable socio-economic development in the province,”
Discussing the prior efforts of KP government to market Tourism they wrote, “Recently, @KPGovernment has placed special focus on tourism promotion sector as a car for economic job and growth creation. In year 2015 it had been the initial province to launch a Tourism Policy, in year 2017 accompanied by a Cultural Policy,”
Sharing the near future plans through launch of ‘Tourism Sector Analysis’, PTI added, “[email protected] is in procedure for establishing Provincial Tourism Authority. To develop tourism further, GoKP sponsored Tourism Sector Analysis study, to conduct comprehensive & quantifiable assessment of tourism sector in destinations including Kalam, Kumrat, Galiyat & Naran.”

Khyber Pakthunkhwa Government shared earlier, “Tourism Department has identified places for family parks in Galiyat in Abbottabad, Kalam in Swat and Hund in Swabi. 15 new tourist sites have been identified in Chitral, Malakand and hazara, which may be developed on war-footing to attract tourists to KP.”
