Dusit International, a prominent hotel and property development firm in Thailand, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Saigontourist Group, one of the largest multi-service travel companies in Vietnam. This collaboration aims to enhance tourism development in both Thailand and Vietnam through strategic marketing initiatives, improved services, and the introduction of innovative tourism products.
According to the MOU, Dusit International and Saigontourist Group will exchange technical knowledge, expertise, and best practices to improve the quality and efficiency of tourism services in their respective countries. Additionally, the two organizations will investigate opportunities for collaborative hotel development and promote each other’s tourism offerings at significant events, festivals, and travel exhibitions.
Thailand continues to be a vital source market for Vietnam’s tourism sector, with Saigontourist Group’s extensive range of hotels, resorts, entertainment venues, and conference facilities attracting thousands of Thai tourists annually. Similarly, Thailand is a favored destination for Vietnamese travelers. In 2023 and the first half of 2024, Saigontourist Travel Service Company facilitated trips for around 15,400 Vietnamese tourists to explore Thailand’s premier destinations, including Bangkok and Pattaya.
