The Kavango Zambezi (KAZA) Transfrontier Conservation Area (TFCA) has officially introduced its innovative destination brand, “Rivers of Life,” at a significant event held during the KAZA Heads of State Summit in Livingstone, Zambia. This momentous occasion of revealing the new tourism destination brand signifies a crucial step forward in the region’s efforts to foster conservation, sustainable tourism, and community empowerment within the TFCA components across the five partner countries – Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

The KAZA TFCA, covering around 520,000 square kilometers, stands as the largest terrestrial transfrontier conservation area globally. The newly introduced brand symbolizes the area’s diverse biodiversity, renowned wildlife, dynamic cultures, and the vital rivers that unite them all.

The new tourism destination brand’s visual identity showcases a graphic representation of an elephant, a keystone species that emphasizes the importance of cross-border cooperation among the five KAZA countries due to its migratory behavior.
