Azorra, an aircraft lessor headquartered in the United States, recently marked the arrival of its inaugural A220-300. This particular aircraft was delivered from the Airbus facility located in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, and is set to be leased to Breeze Airways, a Utah-based airline. Notably, this is the first of the 22 A220-300 aircraft that Azorra has ordered. The inclusion of Azorra in the regional airline sector further reinforces the A220’s reputation for its adaptability and versatility.
In April 2024, Breeze received 23 A220s directly from Airbus’ Mobile, Alabama, plant. Recently, Breeze Airways placed an order for 10 more A220-300s, increasing their total order to 90 and solidifying their position as the third largest A220 customer globally. Breeze plans to operate an all-A220 fleet for their commercial flights by the end of 2024.
