Beijing Hosts 2024 Inbound Tourism Development Conference

The Beijing Inbound Tourism Development Conference began on Friday with the main goal of creating a space for communication and strengthening cooperation between Chinese and international travel agencies. Running until Sunday, the conference includes a wide range of activities such as discussions between travel companies, signing strategic partnerships, promoting cultural and tourism resources, and conducting site inspections.

The commencement event was attended by a crowd of over 260 individuals, including a significant presence of over 100 global travel industry representatives, local cultural and tourism authorities, and international destination representatives based in the city.

During the conference, Sima Hong, the deputy mayor of Beijing, gave a keynote speech emphasizing Beijing‘s desire to utilize this occasion for meaningful discussions with global tourism professionals. The city’s goal is to strengthen collaboration, promote mutual visitor exchanges with foreign travel companies, improve partnerships, and encourage the sharing of expertise to create high-quality tourism itineraries.
