British Airways is set to operate an unprecedented number of flights between North America and London for the Summer of 2025, providing over 400 direct flights each week during its peak travel periods.
The airline provides non-stop service from 26 cities in the United States to London, surpassing all other European carriers in the number of transatlantic flights. Additionally, it is the sole European airline to feature a luxury First Class cabin on flights across the Atlantic to London.
Over the past ten years, British Airways has introduced six new routes originating from various cities in the United States. These include Austin, which was added in 2014, followed by New Orleans in 2016, Nashville in 2018, Pittsburgh in 2019, Portland, Oregon, in 2022, and the latest addition, Cincinnati, in 2023.
In other developments within British Airways’ international route network, a third daily service from London to Delhi (DEL) has been introduced, increasing the total number of weekly flights to India to 63 across five different destinations. Additionally, the frequency of flights from Cancun (CUN) to London Gatwick (LGW) will rise from six to seven per week, transitioning to a daily operation next summer. Furthermore, a second daily flight has been established from Heathrow to Florence (FLR).
