Hong Kong Airlines has seen its daily flight volume return to pre-pandemic levels in the first half of the year. With plans to expand its fleet and introduce new routes, the airline is expecting to hire over 10% additional pilots and 40% more cabin crew within the year. To address these growth requirements, the company has initiated recruitment activities in different cities in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other areas, seeking to fill various positions such as frontline staff and flight attendants.

During its most recent flight attendant recruitment event held in Bangkok on 15 June, the organization managed to draw in a large number of individuals looking to pursue a career in the aviation industry. Following a rigorous selection process, eligible applicants were asked to attend in-person interviews.

Hong Kong Airlines ensures that employees from diverse cultural backgrounds receive extensive cultural guidance and language courses. Additionally, the company has implemented an employee assistance program to assist new hires in overcoming personal or work-related difficulties during their relocation period.
