Hurtigruten has introduced its newest offering: Signature, a premium category designed to enhance the cruising experience along coastal Norway. Alongside the launch of the new 2025/26 program, Hurtigruten guests now have the option to select between the enhanced Signature experiences and the distinctive Original Coastal Express, a service that Hurtigruten first introduced in 1893. The latest season’s collection features the debut of groundbreaking Signature voyages, inspired by the glorious era of ocean liners.
The Svalbard Line and The North Cape Line have been meticulously designed to provide guests with an exclusive chance to ‘Live the Legend of Norway’. These small-ship cruises promise a luxurious experience along Norway’s renowned coastline, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the diverse array of natural wonders and cultural gems that characterize this exceptional region.
Originally introduced as the Svalbard Express and the North Cape Express last year, these were the company’s first two premium sailings in its 130-year history. The new names signify the company’s growth and improvements to the product, while also setting them apart from the Original Coastal Express offerings.
