JAS has announced the acquisition of Setoa S.p.A., which became an official member of the group on July 10. This acquisition allows JAS to broaden its business reach into new markets, particularly incorporating West Africa into the regions served directly by its services. With Setoa’s integration into the group, JAS’s service offerings now extend to Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Ghana, Gabon, Congo, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
Since its establishment in 1997, Setoa has accumulated significant experience in the intricate African market, enabling it to provide highly tailored services to its clients. The nearly three decades of expertise in this specialized sector, along with JAS’s extensive experience and global network, will enhance the range of offerings available to customers, delivering comprehensive and innovative solutions.
Leonardo Baldi, Regional Vice President and CEO of JAS Italy, stated, “This acquisition marks a significant advancement in our growth strategy, and I am optimistic that it will generate new synergies, allowing us to more effectively address our customers’ needs through an enhanced array of logistics solutions while broadening our global presence in these emerging markets.”
