Qatar Airways plans to enhance its Sri Lanka-Doha flights by adding an extra daily flight, bringing the total to six daily flights, effective from 10 July 2024. This expansion in flight offerings underscores the airline’s commitment to offering increased options and improved connectivity for travelers flying to and from Sri Lanka.
The Boeing 787 aircraft will be utilized for the extra flights, offering 30 Business Class seats and 281 Economy Class seats. This network expansion will enable Qatar Airways to run a combined total of 42 weekly flights to and from Sri Lanka, providing passengers access to almost 170 international destinations across the globe.
The recently introduced flights will offer travelers a wider range of choices for connecting to key destinations in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and beyond, through Hamad International Airport, which has been recognized as the best airport in the world by Skytrax.
Qatar Airways currently flies to over 170 destinations worldwide, connecting through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport.
