Budapest Airport has experienced a remarkable 18% increase in passenger traffic this year. The beginning of June has witnessed a notable expansion of the airport’s route map, with Ryanair introducing several new routes. As a result, the ultra-low-cost carrier now operates a network of 66 destinations from Budapest under the S24 schedule. On Sunday, Budapest celebrated the launch of three new routes to Portugal, Germany, and Italy by Ryanair.

Ryanair has recently added another route to its expanding network, with the introduction of a twice-weekly link to Skiathos. This marks the airline’s ninth Greek route from the airport, bringing the total number of weekly flights to various Greek destinations to 27. In addition to this new route, Ryanair has also launched daily services to Milan and three-times weekly services to Tirana, further enhancing its presence at Budapest Airport.
