Ethiopian Airlines Group has launched flights to Maun, its second destination in the Republic of Botswana following Gaborone. This service began on June 10, 2024. The first flight took off from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD) after a lively celebration attended by officials from the Embassy of Botswana, government representatives of Botswana, and Ethiopian Airlines executives, among others.

The service will commence operation according to the schedule provided below:

Addis Ababa (ADD) Maun (MUB) Ndola (NLA) Addis Ababa (ADD): every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

The introduction of the new route offers a convenient and smooth travel experience for passengers traveling from Ethiopia and other regions of Africa to the renowned tourist spot, Maun. Maun serves as the entry point to the Okavango Delta, a popular destination. Ethiopian Airlines takes pride in its extensive network within Africa, serving over 60 destinations across the continent. By operating through its main hub in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian Airlines has successfully established seamless connections within Africa and globally, contributing to the development of the aviation sector in Africa.
