By doing so, WestJet aims to strengthen the connections between Alberta’s thriving visitor economy and Asia’s dynamic business and tourism sectors.
Canada and South Korea have established robust interpersonal connections rooted in historical ties, which have been further strengthened by growing immigration, tourism, and business exchanges. South Korea stands as one of the primary nations from which Canada welcomes international students.
WestJet’s nonstop link to ICN enhances trade prospects, simplifying the export of Canadian products and expediting the import of electronics, e-commerce merchandise, and general cargo.
The WestJet service to Seoul will be operational on the airline’s 787 Dreamliner thrice a week until October 27, 2024, with plans to resume in Spring 2025.
