Delta Air Lines will resume its daily flights between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) starting from October 26th for the winter season. Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior VP for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India stated that by connecting Amsterdam’s bustling international hub, which is Delta’s busiest airport in Europe, with Tampa Bay’s famous beaches, Delta Air Lines is providing customers with an opportunity to experience the best of both Europe and America. He also mentioned that travelers will have access to Delta’s premium amenities and extensive global network, ensuring a delightful winter travel season.

New route enhances the airline’s Florida-Europe connections, adding to the current winter seasonal flights between Orlando (MCO) and Amsterdam. Delta operates year-round flights to the Dutch city from Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis/St Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), Portland (PDX), Salt Lake City (SLC), and Seattle (SEA).

The Airbus A330-300 aircraft will be utilized for the new service, offering four distinct product experiences: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin. Passengers traveling with Delta from Tampa to Amsterdam can take advantage of convenient connections to more than 100 destinations throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and India through KLM’s well-connected hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Delta’s partners in joint ventures provide additional connectivity choices for travelers flying to and from Florida. KLM and Air France operate flights connecting Miami and Paris, while Virgin Atlantic offers flights from both Miami and Tampa to London Heathrow (LHR). Additionally, Virgin Atlantic operates flights from Orlando to both Manchester and London Heathrow (LHR).
