Cheval Collection has named Tom Gibson as the General Manager responsible for managing its properties in Edinburgh. The company is in the process of expanding globally, with the recent addition of a new property in Dubai and a growing portfolio in Scotland. Gibson will be transitioning from his role as General Manager at Virgin Hotels in Glasgow, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. His previous roles include serving as General Manager at The Glasshouse in Edinburgh, which is part of the Autograph Collection, and as Director of Operations at the Dalmahoy Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
Cheval Collection boasts three properties located in the capital of Scotland: Cheval The Edinburgh Grand situated on St Andrew Square, Cheval Old Town Chambers located on the Royal Mile, and Cheval Abbey Strand Apartments positioned at the entrance of the Palace of Holyroodhouse in the prestigious royal area of Edinburgh. In total, the portfolio comprises 133 luxurious apartments within the city. The group holds the distinction of being the sole brand in Edinburgh that is a member of the Global Hotel Alliance, and is also the pioneering serviced apartment operator in Europe to be part of the program.
