Avelo Airlines has revealed its plans to launch direct flights from Houston to Hartford, Connecticut, starting this autumn. This new route will mark Avelo’s second destination in Connecticut from H-Town.
Avelo, a Houston-based airline, will provide direct flights between William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford. Avelo stands as the sole airline to offer nonstop service from Houston to Connecticut.
Avelo will commence service on this route twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, starting from November 15th, using Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.
Hartford serves as the entrance to Northern Connecticut and New England, tracing back to its establishment as a trading post along the Connecticut River in 1633. As the capital of Connecticut, Hartford boasts a rich history, vibrant arts scene, rejuvenated riverfront, and picturesque parks and gardens. The city is renowned for the Mark Twain House & Museum, where the iconic characters of Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer were brought to life by the renowned author Mark Twain during his time in Hartford. Additionally, Hartford provides convenient access to various attractions across Connecticut and New England.
