Malaysia Airlines has successfully commenced its inaugural service to Da Nang, Vietnam, on 24 September, thereby enhancing travel options to this enchanting destination from its primary hub in Kuala Lumpur. Vacationers can now take advantage of daily flights to discover the breathtaking mountain vistas and picturesque attractions that Da Nang presents.
The inaugural flight MH748 departed from KLIA Terminal 1 (KUL) to Da Nang International Airport (DAD) at 0835 hours local time, marked by a lively send-off ceremony. To celebrate this milestone, all passengers received exclusive limited-edition postcards, created in partnership with photographer Acacia Diana, which beautifully encapsulate the charm of Da Nang. Malaysia Airlines flight, operated by a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, accommodated a total of 155 passengers, comprising 12 in Business Class and 143 in Economy Class.
Upon reaching DAD at 1025 hours local time, passengers were met with a cordial welcome event, commemorating the newly established connection between Malaysia and Vietnam. The return flight, MH749, from DAD to KUL, took off at 1125 hours and arrived back in Kuala Lumpur at 1520 hours local time.
