GoNexus Group, a prominent entity in the experiences and mobility travel sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of Javier Arévalo as the Managing Director for two newly established divisions: Global DMC Network and Hospitality Partnerships.
This appointment signifies Javier’s shift from a non-executive capacity, having served on the board of directors of GoNexus Group since 2023, to an executive leadership role within the organization, where he will report directly to Rubén Gutiérrez, the President of GoNexus Group.
Arévalo brings with him over 30 years of extensive leadership experience in the travel technology and hospitality sectors. Prior to this role, he held various senior executive positions within the industry, including a notable tenure at HBX Group (previously known as Hotelbeds), where he dedicated more than two decades to multiple roles.
While at Hotelbeds, he held the positions of Managing Director for the Americas and Executive Vice President and Global Managing Director of Beyond The Bed (BTB), the Experiences and Mobility division of HBX Group. Under his guidance, BTB emerged as a frontrunner in the experiences and mobility sector, offering tours, activities, and transportation services through well-known brands including Hotelbeds, Bedsonline, Carnect, and Holiday Taxis.
