In this role, Ryan will report directly to Larry Cuculic, the President and Chief Executive Officer of BWH Hotels, and will be responsible for leading the Technology Management team while steering the brand’s comprehensive digital strategy and transformation initiatives.
Ryan offers a novel viewpoint to the hospitality sector, having accumulated 15 years of experience with prominent retail brands. During his professional journey, he has facilitated substantial revenue increases for consumer-oriented companies such as PetSmart, Urban Outfitters, and Backcountry by enhancing the customer experience, introducing new capabilities, and spearheading digital transformation initiatives. In his latest position, Ryan held the title of Vice President of Digital Commerce and Customer Technology at Backcountry, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to develop a comprehensive multi-year enterprise modernization strategy and refine their product planning methodologies.
