Commencing in June of 2024, Seattle will see the introduction of new routes by three prominent airlines, offering around 46 direct flights weekly to Taiwan. Delta Airlines is scheduled to inaugurate its services on June 7, with China Airlines to follow suit on June 14. Subsequently, on August 16, STARLUX Airlines will also initiate flights between Seattle and Taipei. This enhanced network will offer American travelers increased convenience, accessibility, and efficiency when traveling to Taiwan, as well as improved connectivity to other neighboring Asian destinations.
Furthermore, at the Taiwan Tourism Promotion Conference held in Seattle, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) unveiled a fresh logo and slogan, “TAIWAN – Waves of Wonder,” as part of their efforts to promote new routes and expand flight options. Esteemed attendees, such as Tammy Canavan, CEO of Seattle Tourism, and Brian Surratt, CEO of Greater Seattle Partners, graced the occasion. The event featured lively activities and immersive Taiwan experiences that enthralled the numerous participants. The guests expressed their enthusiasm for Taiwan’s presence in Seattle and their keenness to establish stronger partnerships with Taiwanese counterparts.
