YOTEL has revealed its intentions to broaden its presence in the UK and Europe with the upcoming launch of YOTEL Belfast.
Scheduled to commence operations in late 2026, this newly constructed hotel will be located in the historic Shaftesbury Square in central Belfast, within a short walking distance of several of the city’s key attractions, such as Queen’s University and the Botanic Gardens.
Rajesh Rana, the Director of Andras Hotels, stated: “We are thrilled to advance this project on a significant site within the city. The £17 million investment will offer a contemporary lodging choice for international travelers and generate quality employment opportunities for the local community, positioning the hotel as a key contributor to the expanding tourism sector in Belfast.”
YOTEL’s entry into Belfast is a key component of the brand’s overarching strategy to extend its unique hotel concept to additional cities throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom, and globally. New locations are currently in the pipeline for cities such as Tokyo, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur, among others. A Proposal of Application Notice has been filed with Belfast City Council, initiating the planning process for this anticipated development.
