Okinawa Welcomes New GM at Halekulani

Fukunaga, a hospitality veteran with over two decades of experience, will oversee all hotel operations. He most recently served as Regional Vice President of Operations for Japan and Micronesia at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. Prior to that he was General Manager at Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei.

Fukunaga has held key leadership roles prior to that at hotels including The Westin Sendai, Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel, and The St. Regis Osaka. There, he served as both General Manager and Area General Manager for Japan and Guam.
