Current Spirit Airlines CFO Scott Haralson is leaving to join Hertz car rental company as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Brian McMenamy who currently serves as the airline’s Vice President and Controller will serve as the interim CFO.
An interim position announcement normally indicates a fast response to a quick exit, with this transition taking place effective June 14, 2024. It is not clear who exited quickly and why – Scott Harlason from Spirit to Hertz or Alexandra Brooks, the current CFO of Hertz who is described as leaving “to pursue other opportunities.”
Spirit Airlines has initiated a search for a new CFO.
