Star Alliance, along with its member airlines, celebrated ten years of service at Terminal 2, which serves as its headquarters at Heathrow. The Queen’s Terminal has been instrumental in supporting the operations and seamless transfers of 23 Star Alliance member airlines, benefiting over 15 million passengers annually. This accounts for almost 20% of the total seat capacity offered by the airport.

In honor of the event, Theo Panagiotoulias, Chief Executive Officer of Star Alliance, expressed: “Heathrow serves as a crucial hub for our member airlines. Through our combined services at the common terminal, we take pride in providing smooth experiences for numerous passengers on a daily basis. On behalf of our member airlines, I would like to express our appreciation to Heathrow for its continuous support over the past decade, which has allowed for exceptional traveler experiences each day and in the future.”

Terminal 2 is the departure point for 23 Star Alliance airlines, including Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Austrian, Avianca, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, EGYPTAIR, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, SWISS, TAP Air Portugal, THAI, Turkish Airlines, and United. Together, they operate a total of 124 daily flights to 44 different destinations across 23 countries.
