United has recently introduced close to 200 additional flights to facilitate the transportation of convention participants and political supporters to the upcoming national political conventions this summer. The airline will boost its flight operations in Milwaukee by over 75% for the Republican National Convention in July and will operate its most extensive schedule from its Chicago O’Hare hub since 2019 for the Democratic National Convention in August. This includes a 40% rise in flights between Chicago O’Hare and Washington Reagan.
United Airlines has expanded its Milwaukee schedule by 75% for the Republican National Convention, allowing almost 5,000 additional individuals to participate in this significant event. Overall, United will operate over 280 flights to and from Milwaukee during the convention week. This includes a fresh nonstop route connecting Milwaukee to Washington Reagan airport, 72 extra flights from United’s major hubs in Chicago O’Hare, New York/Newark, Denver, Washington Dulles, and Houston, as well as 20 roundtrip flights utilizing larger aircraft.
United Airlines will operate its most extensive schedule at Chicago O’Hare since 2019 for the Democratic National Convention, offering over 530 flights daily on peak days. The schedule features 38 extra flights connecting Chicago O’Hare and Washington Reagan, all of which will be serviced by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with United’s distinctive interiors. Additionally, there will be more than 80 supplementary flights between Chicago O’Hare and various cities such as Albany, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Portland, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Diego, San Jose, and Seattle.
