United Airlines will continue its direct flight service between New York and Tenerife for the third consecutive year. This year, they will offer an extended service, connecting Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey to Tenerife South. The service will begin on June 1, 2024, and operate three times per week until at least the end of March 2025. During this period, passengers will have access to over 23,400 seats on flights arriving at Tenerife.
United Airlines‘ service will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from the United States (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays during winter). From Tenerife, the service will be offered on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during winter). The flight duration is approximately seven hours and will be operated using a B757-200 aircraft. The aircraft has a total capacity of 176 seats, including 16 flat-bed seats in United Polaris business class and 160 seats in economy. Economy class includes 42 Economy Plus seats with extra legroom and more personal space.
