What Most Travelers Are Interested In

Yep, you guessed it – food! The largest group of niche travelers participated in some sort of food driving holiday, such as wine tours and the newest type of safari – street food.

In a survey, 53% went on vacation with food activities as the main driving force. After that a large group (45%) are interested in culture and heritage, with adventure and extreme tourism along with dark and paranormal tourism following not too far behind

If travelers can align their vacations with their hobbies, all the better. The chance that trip inspiration may have been lit by social media is fairly high. So be advised tour coordinators and travel agencies, people want unique experiences… time to think outside the travel box and go off the beaten path.
