Turkish Airlines, serving 346 destinations across 130 countries on 6 continents, has resumed flights to Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital, effective from 21 May 2024. Commencing sales from 26 April 2024, flights to Kabul will be available four times a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Turkish Airlines, officially known as Türk Hava Yolları Anonim Ortaklığı, serves as the national airline of Turkey. By 2024, it offers scheduled flights to 272 destinations across Europe, Asia, Oceania, Africa, and the Americas. This extensive network of destinations establishes Turkish Airlines as the world’s largest mainline carrier in terms of passenger destinations. Moreover, it surpasses all other airlines by operating non-stop flights to more destinations from a single airport. With flights to 126 countries, Turkish Airlines holds the record for serving the most countries among all airlines. Additionally, the airline’s cargo division, Turkish Cargo, operates a fleet of 24 cargo aircraft and serves 82 destinations. Turkish Airlines also possesses a low-cost subsidiary called AJet.

The airline’s corporate headquarters are located at Istanbul Atatürk Airport in Yeşilköy, Bakırköy, Istanbul. Istanbul Airport in Arnavutköy serves as the airline’s main base. Turkish Airlines has been a member of the Star Alliance network since 1 April 2008.
