Alaska Airlines is further extending its reach from Portland by introducing its inaugural nonstop flight to New Orleans, commencing in January. Our daily flights will be available until the following spring, encompassing the vibrant festivities of Mardi Gras, the grandest annual celebration in New Orleans.
Starting in January, Alaska Airlines will offer nonstop flights from Portland International Airport to New Orleans, making it the 55th destination in Alaska’s network. The daily flight will depart in the morning, allowing guests to spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant city of New Orleans before returning to Portland in the evening.
Alaska Airlines has been expanding its presence at PDX by introducing new routes. This includes daily nonstop flights to Nashville, which began earlier this year, and flights to Atlanta, scheduled to commence on October 1st. Additionally, the airline has taken into consideration the convenience of its guests by increasing the number of flights throughout the day to popular destinations. This summer, there will be an average of over 100 daily departures from Portland, including destinations such as Anchorage, Ontario, Reno, and Santa Rosa.
