New JFK Terminal One Seeks Security Service Provider

The New Terminal One at JFK, an all-international terminal set to open in 2026, is excited to announce the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for security services. The state-of-the-art airport terminal is committed to providing exceptional experiences for travelers, service providers, and staff, and is in search of a Professional Security Service Provider (SSP) with a proven track record of operating at the highest levels of excellence in both aviation services and security.

The New Terminal One plays a crucial role in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion project to upgrade JFK Airport into a top-tier gateway. This project includes the construction of two new terminals, the expansion and modernization of two existing terminals, the development of a new ground transportation center, and the creation of a simplified roadway network.

The RFP includes the provision of services and personnel for managing the security operations of the terminal, including security dispatcher, curbside coordinator, terminal patrols, alarm response, employee screening checkpoints, sally port and loading dock operations, curbside staff, and credentialing coordinator.
