Carnival Corporation & plc has successfully concluded the fleetwide integration of LR OneOcean’s EnviroManager+ software. This implementation represents the most thorough and data-intensive utilization of the LR OneOcean platform to date, establishing a new standard for maritime journey and environmental planning. The software is expected to improve passage planning efficiency and facilitate compliance with a wide range of environmental regulations at international, regional, national, and local levels.
The EnviroManager+ system underwent a collaborative development effort between Carnival Corporation and LR OneOcean over a rigorous five-year period. This partnership involved senior maritime officials, shipboard crew members, environmental experts from both companies and the industry, leaders in regulatory compliance, and technology innovators. The result of this joint effort is the most comprehensive and data-driven version of the LR OneOcean platform to date. The system was specifically designed to provide shipboard crews with enhanced, automated, and user-friendly tools for supporting passage and environmental planning, as well as facilitating improved monitoring of environmental requirements during voyages.
