Bertrand Margerie brings over 30 years of experience with globally renowned hospitality brands across 4 continents, as he steps into his new role as General Manager of Kuramathi Maldives.
Originally from France, Bertrand holds a diploma in tourism management from Ecole Nationale de Commerce and a Financial Management Certificate from Cornell University. He began his hospitality journey in 1987 with IHG at Le Grand InterContinental in Paris, starting in front-of-house operations.
Bertrand’s career spans over three decades of operational expertise, with leadership roles including most recent appointments as Hotel Manager In-Charge at Sheraton New Caledonia Deva Spa & Golf Resort, Group General Manager at Chaweng Regent Beach Resort and Melati Beach Resort & Spa in Samui, and Resident Manager at Mövenpick Karon Beach, Phuket.
