May 15 has officially been declared International Casinos Day, celebrating the global cultural, economic, and entertainment impact of casinos.

This date was specifically chosen to coincide with the anniversary of Las Vegas’ founding 120 years ago on May 15, 1905.

Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley officially declared the day in partnership with casinos.com and National Today, honoring the most iconic casino city in the world, as well as casinos around the world.

From ancient gaming houses in Rome and China to the glitz of Las Vegas, grandeur of Macau, and historic elegance of Monte Carlo, today’s sprawling hotel casinos offer not just gaming, but world-class dining, live entertainment, and luxury entertainment.
