The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua has named Jon Gersonde as the new General Manager. In his capacity as General Manager, Gersonde will oversee all aspects of the resort.
Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Maui, he served as vice president and managing director at Oahu’s Turtle Bay Resort, which recently transitioned to a Ritz-Carlton property. Previously he held roles as Vice President of Operations, Managing Director, and General Manager for developments including the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, The Royal Hawaiian, Kapalua Bay Hotel, and The Westin Maui. His hospitality experience spans around the world including senior hotel positions in Australia, Asia, California, Florida, the Western Pacific, and the Caribbean.
