Hotelbeds has announced new extension of its strategic partnership with Choice Hotels for the upcoming three years. As part of this agreement, the division of HBX Group will now include Radisson Americas properties in its portfolio, further expanding its offerings in the TravelTech industry.

This collaboration comes after a fruitful three-year period, highlighting Hotelbeds’ dedication to driving success in the business-to-business hotel segment. The B2B hotel segment currently accounts for 80% of Choice Hotels’ B2B offerings.

Choice Hotels is recognized as one of the largest lodging franchisors, currently franchises over 7,500 hotels, included in Hotelbeds’ hotel portfolio, with a total of nearly 630,000 rooms available in 46 countries and territories worldwide.

Abhijit Patel, VP Marketing, Distribution Strategy and Revenue Management at Choice Hotels, expressed his enthusiasm regarding the news. He stated that the strategic agreement with Hotelbeds is a significant step in expanding their longstanding partnership. This agreement not only opens up new avenues for revenue generation and international exposure for their U.S. franchisees but also reinforces their trust in Hotelbeds’ valuable wholesale distribution model. Choice Hotels remains dedicated to maintaining rate integrity across all channels and aims to reduce distribution costs for their franchisees. Patel believes that this agreement holds great potential in enhancing their ability to achieve these goals in the long run, particularly in key international source markets.
