Why is Hotel Management Japan Partnering with Sabre?

Sabre Corporation has recently announced a new partnership with Hotel Management Japan, a well-known hotel operator that oversees some of the most prestigious hotels in Japan. This collaboration will involve Hotel Management Japan utilizing SynXis, Sabre Hospitality’s cloud-based commerce and distribution platform, to enhance its connectivity with travel agents and travel management companies worldwide.

Hotel Management Japan, which manages a portfolio of over 6,400 hotel rooms across Japan, will establish a strong connection to the main Global Distribution Systems, including Sabre’s GDS, through SynXis. This will be applicable to their own brands, such as ORIENTAL HOTELS & RESORTS. Furthermore, they will leverage Sabre Hospitality’s Channel Connect to simplify and automate inventory distribution to global Online Travel Agency (OTA) channels. This will be done from a single distribution point, ensuring that guests can book their preferred accommodations with ease.

Hotel Management Japan Co., Ltd. (HMJ) oversees the operation of 22 hotels in Japan, boasting a combined total of 6,438 rooms. The company is deeply engaged in managing various hotels, including Tokyo Resort partner hotels, as well as well-known domestic and international brands like “ORIENTAL HOTELS & RESORTS,” “Hilton,” “Marriott,” and “Holiday Inn” across the country.
