Curated by artist and gallerist Alia Al Farsi, the inaugural exhibition in Venice presents new works of art by famous contemporary Omani artists such as Alia Al Farsi herself, Ali Al Jabri, Essa Al Mufarji, Sarah Al Olaqi, and Adham Al Farsi.
In keeping with this year’s Art Biennale theme, Strangers Everywhere, artists from various backgrounds will come together to convey the essence of Oman’s multicultural heritage.
The four selected artists represented the Sultanate of Oman at the 60. Biennale di Venezia International Art Exhibition have each made noteworthy and commendable contributions to their communities, effectively revitalizing Oman’s contemporary art scene throughout their careers
