The initiation of this exclusive service by WestJet signifies a significant achievement in expanding Edmonton’s direct transborder travel choices to a major international hub.
The United States is Alberta’s primary bilateral trade partner and the top inbound tourism market for the province. Thanks to the enduring collaboration between WestJet and Delta Air Lines, travelers connecting through Atlanta can now reach a wide array of U.S. destinations with a single ticket purchase. They can check in for all flights at the initial departure, have their baggage tagged to their final destination, and access select lounges.
