Princess Cruises has recently formed a new collaboration with Chef Tony Gemignani, a 13-time World Pizza Champion and widely regarded as the best pizza maker in contemporary times. Known for serving the Best Pizza at Sea, the cruise line has successfully set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS Title for the “World’s Largest Pizza Party” across various locations on its fleet of Love Boats. Guests indulged in over 60,000 slices of delicious pizza, expertly crafted by the line’s skilled chefs.
Chef Gemignani has developed a pair of pizzas specifically for Princess Cruises, featuring a delightful mix of savory tastes and high-quality ingredients ranging from Soppressata sausage and spicy honey to agave pesto and creamy goat cheese. Additionally, he has shared the recipes for three of his acclaimed, prize-winning pizzas, solidifying the line’s reputation for providing the finest pizza experience at sea.
Chef Gemignani’s culinary creations will first be introduced at Alfredo’s on the recently launched Sun Princess, contributing to the extensive array of dining experiences available at sea, with intentions to expand to the entire fleet by the summer. Chef Gemignani has personally instructed Princess chefs at his renowned Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco and on Princess ships.
