Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Smart City Business America Institute (SBCA) to host the SCB-Br Expo and Congress from 2025 onwards. The event is endorsed by leaders and executives from both the public and private sectors, and aims to advance the development of smart cities in Brazil, emphasizing the significance of technology and innovation in constructing self-sustaining and sustainable urban ecosystems.
The concept of Smart Cities has undergone significant evolution in recent years, with a shift towards viewing cities as intelligent ecosystems where technology is utilized to enhance urban infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for residents. Within this framework, individuals are recognized as agents of transformation, playing a pivotal role in the implementation and success of smart city initiatives.
The event aligns perfectly with IEG’s recent purchases of MundoGeo, merging space drones and geolocation, and Expo InfraFM, offering facility, logistics, construction, and industrial maintenance services. Smart City Business attracts a significant public sector audience, including the Prefecture of São Paulo and other provinces, as well as key state entities like concessionaires, all seeking innovative and sustainable solutions. The potential for participants at the event is evidently promising.
